Fulliem Quach: The Baby-Sitters Club: Mary Anne Spier

Good Evening Readers! I am back with a special post about my favourite fictional character from The Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann Matthews Martin and Scholastic. Mary Anne Spier is the Secratery of the Club and is based on Ann herself. She is on the short side with brown eyes and brown hair. Her hair was originally long, but she made it cut in book number Sixty, Mary Ann's Make-Over. Mary Ann used to be an only child until her strict father married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Schafer-Spier. Her step siblings are her best friend and fellow BSC member, Dawn Schafer and her younger brother Jeff Schafer.

Mary Anne was born on September 22nd and lived in Stoneybrook her entire life. She is a huge fan of New York City and her favourite animals are Cats. Mary Anne got her kitten named Tigger in book number ten, Logan Likes Mary Anne! She also celebrates her 13th birthday and got her boyfriend, Logan Bruno in the book. Her other best friend is BSC's President, Kristy Thomas and she is very close to Stacey McGill.

This is Remco's The Baby-Sitters Club Mary Anne and Jenny Two-Pack set that was released in the early 90's. This is the hardest to find set and also the rarest one. The set include some fun miniatures and a How To Baby-Sit Guide. Mini biographies of the seven main characters are on the back.

This is the other Mary Anne doll produced by Kenner under Scholastic's brand. She is from the Author's Collection and measured 19 Inches and can stand by herself.
