This photo is of the very first Chelsie doll released in 1999. She comes with a guitar, microphone, two(2) outfits, doll stand, bookmark and some accessories. There were lots of different variants of each Generation Girl doll. One version of Chelsie has three(3) earrings on one ear and one(1) on the other. This version has only one earring on each ear.
The back of the package featured some snapshots with quotes from the character and a mini biography of the character.
We can see the Generation Girl logo and character's name printed on top of the package along with the Mattel logo.
A close-up look of Chelsie wonderful and beautiful face print. Her hair is very soft and easy to manage. The hair is tied around her head and it is easy to put it back once removed.
The right spine of the package featured the actual Chelsie doll holding her guitar and a black and white image of Tori and Ana. There were a total of six(6) Generation Girl dolls produced in the first series: Nichelle, Tori, Anna, Chelsie, Lara and Barbie back in 1999. Each with their own passions, goals and style. Later in the same year the second collection Dance Party was released with two new characters Marie and Blaine. Generation Girl Dance Party Chelsie was exclusively made for Toys R Us in limited supply.
This is Chelsie's last appearance. This product was only sold in Toys R Us in the United States and Canada for limited time. She comes with everything pictured in the photo. A doll stand is included. This version is the American version. I got both Chelsie for 25$ each from the same woman that sold Nichelle to me.
The back featured some snapshots with quotes from the character and character's mini biography. You can also purchase Fashion Pack for Chelsie.
Close-up of her wonderful facial print. Love that smile of hers! The two flowers are a nice touch.
Left spine with Chelsie. Chelsie was featured in two books by Melanie Steward titled Singing Sensation and Taking Charge.
