Nichelle Generation Girl

The Generation Girl was a doll brand released and produced by Mattel, back in late 90's. This brand featured six(6) characters from the Barbie And Friends line attending New York's fictional International High School. Ana, Lara, Chelsie, Tori, Nichelle and Barbie are the main characters of the line. These characters are only jointed on the arms and hands and measured Twelve(12) Inches long. Each one has her own talent and passion and comes with doll stand, mini-magazine, and a bookmark for you.

This gorgeous, adorable, beautiful and cute African-American is from New York City and she loves modelling the newest and latest fashions and being photographed by her best friend forever, Barbie Roberts. Nichelle Generation Girl comes with a Director's Chair, a water bottle, sunglasses, cellphone, portfolio with photo, hair care kit, dress, two pairs of shoes, magazine, Nichelle Bookmark and doll stand. Nichelle was never available in Canada when the series was still in production.

Here she is New In Package(NIP) with all her stuff. I was lucky to get her off of Kijiji along with her Generation Girl Dance Party edition for 25$ each. This Nichelle is dressed in a pair of overalls, a yellow sweater, matching silver vest, and pair of blue and white running shoes. Her family name is Williams but they changed it to Watson in the European version,

The back of the Generation Girl's package featured some snapshots with Quotes from the characters and a mini-biography of the character. This line was first introduced in 1999 and was discontinued a few years later. Only three(3) collections were made along with two(2) Fashion Packs  and a book series were made.

As for the right side, a photo of the actual Nichelle Williams Generation Girl is pictured. There are numerous variants of each Generation Girl characters. Some Nichelle have less hair, some have lots of hair:

I was fortunate to get the one with longer hair and more curls. Nichelle is my favourite character from the entire series. She has two(2) featured books titled Secrets Of The Past and Campaign Chaos  written by Melanie Stewart.
